Whether it is a Wine Country wedding or a ceremony in the City, Event Couture is here to design and manage your special day. Event Couture was founded by Certified Wedding Consultant Maiko Gardiner-Elko, who has worked on everything from high-pressure State Dinners with hundreds of diplomatic guests, to small intimate affaires on a petite budget.

Regardless of the size of the event, Maiko weaves in the unique nuances and attention to detail that have developed from her careers in client services, project management, and interior design. Maiko embarked on her career in event planning in 1998, when she was given the singular opportunity to work as the Assistant to the Social Secretary of the President of the Philippines. Through her exposure to the planning of these high-profile events, she has garnered a flair for having 'grace under fire', while retaining the utmost priority for stately elegance and protocol.
